Who we are

About Us

Bible and Breakfast is a non-denominational ministry which aims to encourage engagement with the Word of God- especially in community. This is because we realise that;

  1. Knowledge and understanding of the Bible are essential if a believer is to thrive spiritually.
  2. We are relational beings. God made us to live in relationship with himself, primarily and then with others when he declared it was not good for man to be alone.

So, simply put, we want to help you gain knowledge and deeper understanding of the Word, internalise it and live according to the truth it proclaims whilst making friends who can support and cheer you on along the way.

We do this over food because both scripture and research has shown that human beings bond well over the common experience of sharing in a meal, something Jesus did repeatedly.

So come, as you are: searching for truth or seeking a deeper understanding. Come with your questions, your doubts, your confusions, your knowledge, your experience and your struggles and join in the quest for truth- not as we would have it but as it comes. Straight from the source. Because we believe the Christian journey is one of sanctification and whilst praying for His disciples Jesus petitioned God “sanctify them with your truth, your Word is truth”. The word is Truth.

Where we hope and pray to be

Our Vision

Our goal is to gather christians and non-christians in the London area and beyond, and to create opportunities to hear and discuss the Word of God. This vision is deeply rooted in Matthew 28:19-20 and 2 Corinthians 5:20-21;

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
